About lucyluton

I was born in Bedfordshire in the 70's and have worked variously as a shelf stacker, an engineer for safety shut down systems, a copy-writer for a sex toys shop, a performance analyst and a project manager. I live in a little house with Lillith, Harry, Steve, a cat and a pigeon.

Alternative Markets

..A couple of weeks ago we went to the Northampton Alternative Bring and Buy market,. which was brilliant. I sold a lot of art, and I came home with some amazing little beasts from Spooky Doof creations and Pins and Needles

Here are a few of the bits I sold..

Anyway it went so well and was so much fun that we decided to do our own version in Luton on 3rd December.. still a couple of stalls available..

Inks and things

Last night we were watching “Nuts” the documentary and  Game of Thrones and I had all the inks out and later the alcohol pens (less dangerous after a couple of glasses of mulled wine) and I drew these. I am now slightly worried about my sanity but quite pleased by how they turned out.

( windsor&newton indian ink, and quink inks on watercolour paper – or alcohol markers on canvass board)

Busy art month!

On the August bank holiday I had a little art stall at Sunshine Riding School and sold some of my pictures .. Enthused by this I got my inks out, which had been in the loft. And painted, and painted, and painted.

Not sure what to do with all these, now! Stall at Hitchin market? Etsy shop? hm.
